A lot of people bemoan the fact that the white birthrate is not enough to maintain the population of most European countries. The Aryans are dying out. Well, maybe not.

The cover story in the July 2003 issue of Vanity Fair magazine was about the current generation of teenagers, particularly teenage girls. The cover said "It's totally raining teens! And it's like, so a major moment in pop culture." Well, what kind of moment do we have here? A white moment. With the exception of a couple of Token Negroes, the girls in the story are white.

About the same time as the Vanity Fair article, there was an article in the New York Times about the fact that stores that cater to a young, hip clientele like to hire blonde, blue-eyed sales girls. They have caught some flak about this, and they will probably have to hire a few Token Negroes to stay out of trouble. Nevertheless they _and their customers_ would prefer Aryan sales girls.

It's cool to be white.

Within a few years, biotechnology is going to make it possible for couples to have whatever kind of babies they want. They will be able to design babies to their specifications. Then what will happen?

How many Indians do you know who want to be darker? How many Japanese? How many Mexicans? How many Brazilians? Most people would rather be lighter. Given the choice, they would have white babies. Pretty soon they will have a choice. When designer babies become available, playgrounds in affluent neighborhoods all over the world will be full of little boys who look like Brad Pitt and Prince William, and little girls who look like Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff. There will be more Danish children in New Delhi than in Copenhagen.

Some parents will prefer kids of a slightly darker hue, along the lines of Tiger Woods or Yamila Diaz-Rahi. A few will want their kids to look like Magic Johnson or Oprah Winfrey, but there won't be enough of those to affect the point. Most people who can afford to have white children will have them.

There is going to be a general whitening of the planet.
